February News

One of our big events for February was Tanner's 3rd birthday.  All that Tanner wanted to do for his birthday was to go bowling on the Wii and Uncle Dan and Aunt Jen's house.  He loves to bowl whether it is on the Wii, at a real bowling alley or with his toy bowling set.  Tanner even gets Grandpa Sampson to bowl with him on his toy set.  So, to make Tanner happy we celebrated part of his birthday at Dan & Jen's house with a spiderman cake (his choice) and ice cream.  Grandpa & Grandma Sampson gave Tanner a new giraffe webkinz that he named "Strike".  All in all Tanner had a good day.

As a family, we all attended Preston's Blue and Gold Banquet for cub scouts.  It was a big birthday party because this year marks the 100th Anniversary of Boy Scouts in the USA. We enjoyed a nice dinner, activities for the kids and passing out of awards. The highlight of the evening was the balloon drop.  Our ears were ringing with the sound of balloons popping.
On a spring-like day the family walked to a near by park. We had some family fun playing on the playground, playing catch and tumbling on the ground.  With all this fun Preston even passed off a few things for scouts.

Our little Sadie is just growing and growing.  She is now 4 months old weighing 13lbs and 13oz. She is close to rolling over.  Like the boys, she wants her share of attention from mom and dad.  Sadie's smiles always brightens our day.
